Sometimes an opportunity comes along that is just too good to pass up. As a genealogist, I’ve been tasked with writing a proposal for a new genealogy program, a true, brick-and-mortar space (though small). I’ve been encouraged to dream big and reach for the moon. If you could dream up your own genealogy program, what would you include? A scanning station? Several computers with subscription databases? High-quality scanners and printers? Training of staff and volunteers? A small physical library? Online video tutorials? A FamilySearch affiliate arrangement? The possibilities are endless. But what would you propose?
